I love to read and hear about other peoples turning points in life, moments of change and light bulb moments that change the direction of peoples journey from discontent to content. In this blog, I won’t be telling you why listening more to your inner voice will give you lifetime happiness, but will be sharing from my own experiences a few personal insights over the last few years,
from my inner voice, to yours….

I like to be a watcher, and tend to be the quiet one in the room unless of course I am with my family or close friends.. different story. This has not always been the case however, coming from a performing arts background I feel brought an extrovert side, and I found myself attaching “me” to the performer, dancer, showgirl. I think through all of this side of my life, which I have cut very short into a sentence for now – has shaped a massive part of how I shaped my own identity.
From here, I would like to share this beautiful quote to sum up the next part of my journey, in 2018, when I feel I had my light bulb moment… the Oh, I’m living someone else’s life, not my soul purpose.

We are living in a pretty mad generation, or so I genuinely believe.. at times I find it hard to believe I am living through these times in an overwhelmed sense, other times feeling superiorly positive that anything is possible through our own power!
Some would argue, how can we even begin to go inner when the world around us can feel so chaotic and busy?
From my own experience, the consequence of not doing this though, is never really knowing who you are without the conditioning of the outside world.

Through sustained focus and meditation on our patterns, habits, and conditioning, we gain knowledge and understanding of our past and how we can change the patterns that aren’t. serving us to live more freely and fully.” – Yoga Sutra
No, (by the way reminder to self) the £1000 per month by Mr Guru course does not hold the answers to your emptiness, people can only help and provide you with their own insights, their perspective. Its you, its me, all of us as powerful individual life forms to go inside of ourselves without expecting what to find, stepping into the unknown without your labels, ignoring who we think we are.
My favourite thing to see, is other people having their own awakenings, moments of realisation in life, that it is not validation from others or having “more” of something that will make us feel more content, happy.. fulfilled.
I truly believe going inner to understand a bit more of who we really without others telling us who that may be, gives us our own power from somewhere not external and only internal, a self validation that brings us out into the world as our best selves. For yourself and the collective..
